🧬 Evidence-based video analysis

See why videos
actually work.

ViralDNA breaks a short-form video down into what's really there — the transcript, the scenes, the pacing, the on-screen text — and tells you exactly what to fix, at the exact timestamp. Built for creators who are done guessing.

Real evidence, not vibes.

Every score in ViralDNA traces back to something measured in the actual video. No black boxes, no invented numbers.

Transcript & on-screen text

Speech is transcribed word-by-word with timestamps, and captions or overlays are read straight off the frames — so the analysis knows what was said and shown.

Scenes & pacing

Cuts, scene lengths, and rhythm are detected from the footage itself. See where the video drags and where it moves too fast to follow.

Hook analysis

The first three seconds, measured: how fast the promise lands, whether the text and speech agree, and what would make someone stop scrolling.

Estimated retention curve

An estimate of where viewers are likely to drop off, built from the video's own pacing and speech signals — clearly labeled, never passed off as platform data.

Fixes at a timestamp

Every insight points at a moment in the video with a concrete instruction — cut here, move the caption, land the reveal earlier — never a vague "make it more engaging".

Check before you post

Upload a draft from your camera roll, see the weak spots, fix them, and re-check — before it ever goes live. Or paste a link to analyze any public video.

Ideas grounded in the analysis

Follow-up ideas and rewrites are generated from what the analysis found in your video — not a generic list of trends.

Carousels too New

Photo posts get their own analysis: slide-by-slide text reading, structure and clarity scores — with no made-up retention curve, because a carousel doesn't have one.

Your library

Every analysis is saved with its evidence — transcript, scenes, extracted frames — so you can compare drafts and see what changed.

How it works

Paste a link or upload a draft. About a minute later, you have a report you can act on.

1

Add a video

Paste a TikTok, Reels or Shorts link — or upload a draft straight from your camera roll before you post it.

2

We measure it

Transcript, scenes, on-screen text, pacing and speech signals are extracted from the actual footage. Nothing is guessed.

3

Fix what matters

Get scores you can trace, an estimated retention curve, and a short list of timestamped fixes. Re-check after you edit.

What ViralDNA won't do

Most "viral" tools sell certainty they don't have. We'd rather be useful than impressive.

Predict that a video will go viral

Nobody can. We show you what's working and what isn't inside the video — the part you actually control.

Fake platform stats

Retention is always labeled estimated. We never present a model's guess as your real analytics.

Invent evidence

If it isn't in the transcript, the frames or the timing, it isn't in the report. Every score traces to a stored metric.

Questions, answered

The short version.

Does ViralDNA predict whether my video will go viral?
No — and we don't think anyone honestly can. Distribution depends on the platform, timing, your audience and luck. What ViralDNA does is measure the part you control: how the video is built. Hook, pacing, clarity, structure — with concrete fixes at exact timestamps.
Where does the retention curve come from?
It's an estimate derived from signals inside the video (speech pauses, scene lengths, when the payoff lands, on-screen text density). It is not your platform analytics, and it's labeled as an estimate everywhere it appears. Use it to find weak moments, not as a forecast of views.
Which platforms and formats work?
Public TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts links, plus any short video uploaded from your camera roll (great for checking drafts before posting). Photo carousels are supported too — 2 to 12 slides.
How long does an analysis take?
Usually around a minute for a typical 30–60 second video: the video is fetched, transcribed, split into scenes, the frames are read for on-screen text, and then the report is generated. Longer videos take a bit longer.
How much does it cost?
ViralDNA is a subscription: $9.99 a month, or $34.99 a year (about $2.92 a month) with a 3-day free trial on the yearly plan. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Can I analyze other people's videos?
Yes — any public link. Extracted frames, transcripts and assets are for your analysis and reference; they don't give you rights to reuse someone else's content, and the app says so wherever assets are shown.
What about privacy?
We store the videos you submit and the evidence extracted from them so your reports and library work. We don't sell data or run ad trackers. You can delete your account — and everything with it — from inside the app. Read the Privacy Policy for full detail.
Is there an Android version?
ViralDNA launches on iPhone first. Android is on the roadmap — drop us a line if you'd like to hear when it ships.
